Cold stormy water,
Waves rolling under
sure feet.
The ocean floor
waits.

Hallowed
Sitting to breathe
The cool autumn air
Leaves swirl around me
Trees are left bare
Their thin pale bones cast a skeletal shadow
A silence forms
The earth is hallowed.
